Pitured from top to bottom are the Playstation 3, Nintendo Revolution, and Xbox 360. Taking a lesson from Apple's IPod, they all have been sleekly redesigned to appeal to a design sensitive consumer market. So did function get left out of the design process??? We'll the true answer will come when these systems finally hit the shelves but they include updated features such as wireless networking, Bluetooth enabled joysticks (that's wireless for those of you that are still in the ice age), and processors with up to 3ghz speed.
The systems also feature other new features such as HDTV support, additional USB ports, and larger internal hard drives. So in terms of 'written specifications', they include all the essential functions for a new gaming experience. The proof will be in game development. The addition of faster graphic and operation processors should equate to enhanced graphic rendering and seamless animation. All of the major game developers have lined-up to create new releases that take advantage of the new consoles set to hit by the holiday season.
